Yala east national park
Yala east nitional park or kumana is renowned for rare and beatful birds. This birds sanctuary lies on the south-east coast
In the eastern provice.the distance fromcolombo to kumana is approximately 391 km. the total land area is 18149 hectares.
It wasestablished in 1969. yala east national park is well-know for its diversity of wild life,largely withcharacteristics of dry zone and and tropical thorn forests. In addition,the world famuse mangrove swamp of kumana provides a particularly important habitat for birds.
